In 2026, opportunities for young people to engage meaningfully across borders, especially in regions experiencing conflict, are increasingly rare, yet urgently needed. 

Global Citizens Circle is excited to launch a pilot project this summer, working in partnership with the nonprofit Filmbuilding, to bring together underserved high school students from New Hampshire and the Middle East in a structured, creative collaboration that centers storytelling as a bridge between lived experiences. 

This program creates space for youth to represent themselves, on their own terms, while engaging directly with peers from a vastly different context.

At its core, this innovative program asks a simple but powerful question: What becomes possible when young people from vastly different realities are given the tools, structure, and trust to create something meaningful together?

The culminating event will take place in Manchester with a premiere of three short films co-created by the participating students and will include a conversation with the creators.  We'd love for you to be a part of this celebratory event!
