Every Acre. Every Animal. Every Action.

Help support our first full year of wildlife research, student mentorship,

and conservation storytelling across New Hampshire.

What We Do:

From 10,000 feet above New Hampshire, the landscape might still looks green and whole. But zoom in closer and a different picture emerges. Forests become fragmented. Wetlands become isolated. Wildlife is forced to navigate increasingly narrow corridors between roads and development.

And yet, life persists.

At 9:48 on a winter morning, a river otter climbed onto a snow-covered boulder beside a stream in southwestern New Hampshire. No one saw it. No one knew it passed through. But our small trail camera did and that single moment revealed an entire ecological story. Otters thrive where waterways are healthy, prey is abundant, and habitats remain connected. One brief wildlife clip becomes evidence of resilience in a landscape many people pass every day without realizing how alive it truly is.

So sometimes our work begins with something as small as a single rock beside a trail. Most people would walk past it without a second thought. But for wildlife, it's a communication hub, a place where foxes, fishers, raccoons, and even flying squirrels all intentionally stop and investigate as they move through the landscape, and we know that because we're on the ground and we're watching carefully. And that's the work of Access Conservation. We use non-invasive wildlife monitoring, ecological research, and storytelling to help communities better understand and protect the forests, wetlands, and wildlife corridors around them. Because once you start seeing the landscape this way, you realize every inch is full of meaning.

Who We Are:

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to bridging the gap between people and nature through trail cameras and storytelling that reveal the hidden lives of wildlife. We use and create innovative tools and resources that support wildlife research, conservation education, and digital access to public, private, and conservation lands, with the goal of making conservation more inclusive, engaging, and accessible. We are also dedicated to helping land stewards, land trusts, trail designers, conservation organizations, and private landowners make informed, wildlife-focused land management and trail planning decisions that better support habitat connectivity, biodiversity, and the presence of wildlife across the landscape.

Over the past few years, we have quietly built the foundation for this work through volunteers, board leadership, partnerships, and planning. Now, we are hoping to grow from a small startup built on that volunteer passion into a more focused organization capable of long-term regional impact. 2026 marks our first full year of programming, including expanded field research and the addition of student interns entering the conservation field.

But we could really use your help!

Sometimes our work is flashy, we love a strutting wood duck as much as anyone, and sometimes it’s simply adorable, but it’s also powerful, and it should be accessible to more people. We are focused on witnessing wildlife and helping communities see the quiet flow of life through New Hampshire's forests and wetlands that so often goes unnoticed, then helping people understand why those places matter.

Most importantly though, this work is about hope. However fragile, these ecosystems are not completely gone. They are still alive, still connected, still enduring, and so are we.

Your support will help fund:

  • Full time staffing
  • Student training and mentorship
  • Trail cameras and acoustic monitoring equipment
  • Field supplies and data management tools
  • Educational outreach and accessible wildlife content

We have built the foundation. Now help us build the resilience to keep showing up for the landscapes that need us.

Because every acre matters.

Every animal matters.

And every action matters.
