The Guild of New Hampshire Woodworkers is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to the education and preservation of woodworking craftsmanship. While our community has grown to over 750 members since 1990, our most vital mission today is ensuring that woodworking remains a vibrant part of our local schools.

The Focus: Guild in Schools (GIS)

This year, our NH Gives campaign is dedicated to the Guild in Schools program. As school budgets tighten, woodworking programs are often the first to face dwindling resources. Our professional woodworking teachers and members step in to bridge that gap by:

Mentoring: Bringing experts into classrooms to teach both students and educators.

Revitalizing: Repairing and maintaining machinery to keep shops safe and operational.

Granting: Donating funds for the essential equipment and supplies that school budgets can no longer cover.

Building Excellence from the Ground Up

Our commitment to youth is proven. At our third annual New England Woodworking Competition last November, we saw 165 incredible submissions—68 of which came from students as young as eight years old. We aren't just teaching a hobby; we are fostering the next generation of problem-solvers and artisans.
