Transforming Space Into Community
Free and open to everyone, this project will create an accessible planned outdoor space where people of all generations can explore, learn, gather, and stay connected. Learn more on our Outdoor Community Center page.
The annual Imagination Festival Summer Reading Wrap-up draws standing room only crowds from surrounding communities.
Libraries Are Evolving to Meet Current Needs
The Kingston Community Library is a free public space for people of all ages. We are part of a public movement that combines the traditional role of libraries with support of healthy aging, intergenerational bonding, outdoor learning, and local engagement. We believe libraries can—and should—serve as welcoming civic spaces that strengthen communities far beyond their walls.
Every day, Kingston Community Library brings people together through learning, wellness, creativity, and connection. The Outdoor Community Center will expand these opportunities, providing a welcoming outdoor destination for programs, events, recreation, and lifelong learning.

Why This Matters
Communities thrive when people have places to gather.
The Kingston Community Library already brings together people from across the Southeast New Hampshire region. The Outdoor Community Center will expand these opportunities, creating a welcoming destination for all.

What This Area will Bring
The Outdoor Community Center will support programs such as Kingston 4H, walking groups, outdoor story times, and our Imagination Festival.
Help Build the Future of Community in Kingston
The library brings generations together in unexpected ways.
This project is about creating a place where children can explore, older adults can gather, families share experiences, and neighbors can meet. The Kingston Community Library already brings people and generations together in unexpected ways. When people find each other here, the library becomes more than a place to visit; it becomes a place to belong.

Momentum Is Building
Support for the Outdoor Community Center continues to grow. A generous individual donor has contributed $150,000, and Partners Bank has committed $100,000 toward construction of the pavilion. Additional grants and gifts are helping move the project forward. Together, these investments reflect a shared belief that communities thrive when people have places to gather, learn, explore, and belong.
Every donation during NH Gives helps build on that momentum and brings this vision closer to reality.
Why Give Today?
Families already gather here. Children already learn here. Community is already growing here.
We have architectural designs. Now we can build a space intentionally built for connection, wellness, and belonging for generations to come.
Help us build it together. Today. While our momentum is strong.
If you believe communities need welcoming public spaces where people of all ages can gather, learn, and belong, please support this project during NH Gives.
