Help Us Inspire and Connect People to the Natural World

Teachers, forest landowners, and nature lovers turn to the Center for Northern Woodlands Education for high-quality, science-based content they can trust. Through our flagship publication, Northern Woodlands magazine, we reach more than 13,000 readers in the Northeast and countless more through our website. We also provide The Outside Story, a weekly ecological essay, free of charge to newspapers in New Hampshire, as well as the rest of New England and New York.

Your donation will fuel our work to inspire and connect people to the natural world. Together, we’ll foster awareness of the social, environmental, and economic benefits of woodlands, sound management and conservation practices, and solidarity among people who care about forests.

Importantly, your gift will help ensure that ALL our content remains FREE and accessible online!

Your generous gift will support:
🌿 Free magazine subscriptions to K-12 teachers and homeschoolers
🍄‍🟫 Free quality online content that educates and inspires
🌲 Events that connect people with nature and each other
🦋 Projects—like our pollinator garden—that showcase stewardship in action

Thank you for being a forest champion!
