Gilmanton's Own, Inc.

Gilmanton’s Own is a nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening rural life in Belknap and Merrimack Counties by operating a cooperative market and offering community-based education and events that connect local farmers, artisans, and residents through local goods, shared knowledge, and agricultural heritage.

The vision of Gilmanton's Own, Inc. is to create a vibrant regional community where farming, the arts, and our agricultural heritage are celebrated, supported, and sustained for future generations.

Gilmanton's Own Market, a year-round farmers and artists market ,supports our neighbors in crucial material ways. In 2025 the Market put over $66,000 back in the pockets of local farmers and artists.  And unlike most farmers markets, while Gilmanton's Own promotes and sells their products, they can be using those hours to do other work they need to do.

Your donation helps Gilmanton's Own remain sustainable so that together, we can do this work. As a nonprofit market that gives every dollar we can back to the producers, we use your donations to:

• create the best possible infrastructure for selling our vendors' products;
• be able return the majority of the revenue back to the producers;
• keep the prices as low as possible for our customers;
• stay open all year round;
• engage in educational activities to help the community, especially young people, understand and appreciate farming, food production, craft and artistic work
