Our Story: Access to
World-Renowned Musicians for Almost 50 Years

In 1978, in the quiet towns of northern New Hampshire, world-class musicians began a journey that would transform communities through music. For nearly 50 years, the North Country Chamber Players have brought ambitious music programs to life in historic venues, factory floors, supermarkets, and community centers—wherever music can connect people.

Our programs have expanded beyond the core 5-week summer season to include autumn and winter concerts. Since 2022, "Pay What You Wish" ticketing has opened the doors to even more world-class performances. Through
outreach in Coos and Grafton County schools, generations of students have discovered the joy of music through in-school programs, family-friendly concerts, and free music lessons. We are building a musical legacy that is
welcoming, inclusive, and lasting.

The Need: Broadening Our
Audience, Deepening Our Commitment

Music transforms lives. It heals, inspires, and unites. Our
commitment to "Pay What You Wish" concerts, in-school outreach, and free summer lessons is made possible through generous donations. Your support covers the essential costs of musician fees, housing, instrument care, venue rentals, program design, and more.

While "Pay What You Wish" generates 50–65% of the cost
for each program, previous state and federal grants helped us bridge the gap. This year, your support matters more than ever. Generous donors have pledged
$35,000 in matching funds, so your gift today will be doubled—ensuring access to music for all.

Help us share the magic of music. Join us in building a legacy that reaches every corner of our community.

Testimonial: Full Circle
Impact

Clarinetist Pascal Archer, praised by The New York Times as an “outstanding clarinetist,” joined the 2024, 2025 and 2026 school outreach programs. His journey began in a classroom just like those we visit today:

"When I was in third grade, a professional musician visited my classroom and played for us. I had never heard a live performance before, and it had a tremendous impact on me. I just knew, even then, that music would
be a big part of my life."

Pascal's story is proof of the lasting power of music. Join him in supporting programs that bring the joy of music to our community—one note at a time.

Join us. Share the gift of music. Inspire joy. Change lives.
