Seymour Osman Community Center

Located in the heart of the Whittier Falls community, the Seymour Osman Community Center (SOCC) serves as a haven for the neighborhood's children. Equipped with a gymnasium, four classrooms and a kitchen, the center flourishes with youth-oriented activities.

Out of school time programming has become our flagship programming with a daily afterschool program at Woodman Park School and summer programming at the SOCC all focused around supporting youth academically, socially, and emotionally.

We aim to give youth a better chance. We help children and adults by providing educational skills, parental support, and life experiences so children will be able to better compete in life. We do this by focusing on the development of grit, work ethic, conflict resolution skills, clear goals, and confidence.
