The Center for Safer Communities serves survivors of domestic and sexual violence in Sullivan County, New Hampshire and provides violence prevention education programming in local schools and community spaces. Our mission is to enhance the safety and well-being of victims and survivors of domestic and sexual abuse and stalking through empowerment and advocacy; to create a community responsive to all victims and survivors through education, outreach and accountability; and to empower the community to establish a safer culture. First established in 1977, we have been serving our community for nearly fifty years, and we remain steadfast in our advocacy for survivors and community education efforts that work to break the cycle of violence. Our services are always at no cost, confidential, and judgment-free.
