McGregor Memorial EMS has been serving the Durham, Lee, Madbury, UNH, and surrounding communities since its founding in 1968.  Its 70 volunteers continued providing 9-1-1 ambulance services throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and were instrumental in helping to administer tens of thousands of COVID vaccines throughout the region.  During a time when news of staffing shortages - particularly in healthcare - abound, the volunteers and staff at McGregor have continued to show up to serve the community.  As a result of their dedication, McGregor boosts the highest ambulance availability in the region even compared with fully paid services. As a results of their efforts, McGregor's volunteers were honored to receive the 2021 Spirit of New Hampshire Award from Volunteer N.H.

The proceeds of this year's New Hampshire Gives campaign will go entirely toward purchasing lifesaving equipment designed to help our volunteers and staff do their job.
