As a retired teacher and someone new to the area, I was looking for something meaningful and fun—and I truly hit the jackpot with Friends in Action! Through FIA, I’ve connected with an incredible community of participants, families, and volunteers who genuinely enjoy spending time together. Having events to look forward to and friends to share them with has become a meaningful part of everyday life for everyone involved.
