Support Creative Guts on NH Gives

Creative Guts is on a mission to awaken creativity, community, collaboration, and opportunities for gutsy creatives of all ages. We are a nonprofit, a podcast, and a community-builder. 

Your support will help us:

- interview and spotlight more amazing creatives on our podcast

- publish zines featuring youth and adults who are gutsy enough to put themselves out there

- ensure we can provide fee waivers for event tickets and calls for submissions, so that creatives with financial barriers have access to creative opportunities 

Our organization creates opportunities for people to share their creativity, connect with others, and feel empowered to explore new ideas. Storytelling (through our podcast, zines, art exchanges, and community events) is at the heart of our work. Each project encourages curiosity, collaboration, and confidence, while documenting the vibrant creative culture of New Hampshire and beyond.

As a member of the Creative Guts board, I care deeply about the work that our organization does. The Arts are less and less represented and we aim to bring the stories and knowledge of current artists to peers and those interested in the arts. Personally, I work in sewing arts and photography, both fields currently facing systematic struggles. Fabric and supply stores for sewing are at an all-time low, making a significant barrier to entry to this art. The rise of AI images is hurting the photography world and disvaluing our art form. Creative Guts cares about all arts and through podcasts and events, they are spreading artists' stories and creating opportunities for artists to find community.
