I’ve been part of the Keene Housing Kids Collaborative for the past five years, and I am now in my second year as Chair. What I’ve witnessed during that time is powerful.

The experiences we provide to children in our community are life changing. These are children growing up in economic and social circumstances where opportunities like this are often out of reach. Without this support, many of these moments simply would not happen.

Instead, they do.

Kids are exposed to new environments, new possibilities, and new ways of seeing themselves and their future. Confidence grows. Perspective shifts. Something opens.

And what makes it even more remarkable is how it happens.

People show up. Volunteers, board members, local businesses, and neighbors all step forward to make this possible. It is a true community effort, driven by people who believe these kids deserve more.

This is how cycles are broken.
