In early 2022, I volunteered at a NicaLove wellness clinic in Nicaragua. That is where I met Lucky Lee, a tiny sick puppy who was malnourished, covered in parasites, and struggling to survive.

NicaLove gave him a chance.

They asked if I could foster him while he recovered, but it quickly became clear this was going to be a foster fail. Lucky became part of our family alongside Lizzy Lu and Livvy Love, and today he is healthy, happy, full of personality, and never leaves my side.

His story is why I support NicaLove.

This small organization works hard every day to rescue, feed, treat, and care for animals in some of Nicaragua’s most underserved communities through wellness clinics, medical care, spay and neuter programs, shelter, and rescue efforts.
