As a singer, White Mountain Voices has helped me to explore new genres of music and provided a nice group of friends. I like seeing how the generations interact as the adult singers help the teen singers and the teens help the kids – and the flow goes both ways! My favorite moment so far was during our recent Great American Voices concert when I looked out into the audience and saw an older woman mouthing the words to every song as she enjoyed revisiting music that had been important in her life. Choral music = connection!!
