Library Lovers!

For 139 years, Pope Memorial Library has been the heart of the Mount Washington Valley. We are the place where a child hears their first story, a senior discovers a new passion, a local artist finds their audience, and everyone, no matter who they are, is welcome.

Libraries across the country are under attack. Funding is being cut, books are being banned, and public institutions that have served communities for generations are being forced to close their doors. As a 501c3, Pope Memorial Library relies entirely on the generosity of donors like you, and we need your support now more than ever.

Pope Memorial Library is more than books. It is a place where people gather, learn, create, and connect. It is one of the last truly public spaces we have, free and open to all. When we lose libraries, we lose something that is very hard to get back.
