Connections & Empowerment – We provide ways for our communities of arthritis families to take control of arthritis by connecting them with others who understand the challenges. 

Advocacy & Access – With your help, we shape and influence health care policies and laws at both state and federal levels. 

Science & Research – With our communities’ insights, we make sure effective arthritis treatments are being developed while also pursuing a cure. 

Kids Get Arthritis Too – The Arthritis Foundation provides supportive social connections that are inclusive to parents and caregivers who have a child living with a rheumatic disease. These groups bring people together for fun, social and informative educational events and activities focus on mutual support and positive coping strategies for living well with juvenile arthritis (JA). Our JA Camps help kids and teens with arthritis and related conditions develop independence and build self-confidence. For many campers, it’s the first time they’ve met others who live with the same diagnosis.

Since 1948, the Arthritis Foundation has led the fight to conquer arthritis, which now affects nearly 60 million adults and 300,000 children in the United States as well as their families and loved ones.

Together, we are building not only meaningful progress today, but also a promise for a brighter tomorrow one defined by innovation, equity, and lasting change.
