Every $1 donated to COAST Bus unlocks $4 in Federal grant funding that has already been awarded to us, but can’t be spent without required matching funds.

Since 1982, COAST has connected communities throughout the Greater Seacoast region of New Hampshire and southern Maine. We have transported over 16 million workers, students, seniors, people with disabilities, and families to work, school, medical appointments, shopping, social activities, and community events.

COAST’s public transit network provides a reliable and affordable alternative to driving and maintaining a personal vehicle.

The towns and cities served by COAST’s public transit system are economically, socially, and environmentally interconnected. Affordable housing, jobs, social supports, and medical services are spread throughout the Seacoast region, making travel between communities essential. COAST provides an affordable, reliable link to the opportunities and services people need to succeed.
