What Makes New Hampshire Different?

Many communities across the country are losing local news.

New Hampshire chose a different path.

LOCAL NEWS LIVES HERE.

And New Hampshire is working together to keep it that way.

Across New Hampshire, local news organizations are doing something unusual.

Instead of competing alone, more than 20 newsrooms, colleges, and community organizations are working together through the Granite State News Collaborative to strengthen local journalism, expand civic information, and ensure every Granite Stater has access to trustworthy local news.

The Community News Fund helps make that possible.

What Is The Community News Fund?

The Community News Fund is a statewide investment in New Hampshire's local news ecosystem.

It supports the reporting, training, innovation, and community engagement efforts that help people stay informed about the issues shaping their communities.

Because strong communities need reliable information.

The Community News Fund helps strengthen those efforts while creating new opportunities for local journalism to serve New Hampshire residents.

A Community Investment in Information

Whether you care about education, housing, healthcare, business, public safety, the environment, or local government, change and good decisions start with good information.

That's why local news matters.
