H.E.A.R.T.S. Peer Support Center of Greater Nashua Region VI

H.E.A.R.T.S. Peer Support Center of Greater Nashua Region VI is an Adult Educational Wellness Center for the who struggle with the daily effects of mental health challenges. We are Peers supporting peers. We do not judge or discriminate and welcome all Adult 18 and older. We provide in our programs Holistic approaches to wellness and recovery through group and individual conversations that are Hope based. We are open 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday and 8 am to 4 pm on Fridays. 

We also have two overnight programs we run. In 2013 we opened our alturnitive to hospitalization Peer Crisis Respite. Which is a two bedroom home like apartment setting. That is for those who do not want to go to a hospital or do not qualify to get into one. And still stay in there community and come and go as they need to. This is a 1-to-7-day day program.

In 2021 during the pandemic, we were able to open a 3-bedroom short-term transitional pilot program called SUSD for the need to step-up into more supports from the community (to minimize or prevent the need for hospitalization). Or Step-down from a hospital setting or facility to give folks more time to transition back into the community. This one is designed similar to the respite program but is more goal orientated to support guests to be more successful apon completion of there stay with us. We work together in all our programs with folks's clinical, medical, and natural providers and networks to create better outcomes.   

We are totally a Peer Organization from top to bottom who have lived experience and crisis training and are Certified Peer Support Specialist's. We are funded by the State of NH DHHS BMHS and some Federal funds too. As you know we ae being challenged by funding and really could use you help in finding other sources of funding like NH Gives to sustain and pay for increasing costs to serve our increased of population of folks in more need and the always changing economic environment.
