The Manchester Association of Police Comfort Dogs is a New Hampshire–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the Manchester Police Department’s Comfort Dog Program. Our mission is to enhance the emotional wellness of our community and first responders by funding, sustaining, and strengthening the work of specially trained police comfort dogs.

Our comfort dogs serve as a calming and supportive presence during times of crisis, trauma, and stress. They assist victims, witnesses, families, and community members during difficult moments, while also supporting the mental health and resilience of our officers and civilian personnel. Whether responding to critical incidents, participating in community outreach events, or providing quiet support inside our department, these dogs help build trust, connection, and healing.

Through community donations and partnerships, the Association helps fund training, certification, equipment, veterinary care, and ongoing program needs to ensure our comfort dog teams remain healthy, prepared, and ready to serve. Together, we are strengthening resilience, fostering connection, and bringing comfort when it is needed most.
