New Hampshire Homeschooling Coalition

Since 1989, the New Hampshire Homeschooling Coalition has supported all reasons for and methods of homeschooling. We are the oldest organization serving home educators in NH. Independent and inclusive, we are not tied to any specific educational method, religion, or political viewpoint. With representatives throughout the state, we are always ready to help.

This is our fifth year participating in NH Gives. Thanks to donors like you, we can continue assisting home educating families across New Hampshire.

We offer:

• Connection with local NHHC representatives—experienced homeschoolers ready to answer your questions and guide you through every step of the home education journey.
• Help finding resources, including co-ops, support groups, classes, extracurricular activities, tutors, evaluators, testing options, and curriculum providers.
• Clear explanations of New Hampshire’s home education requirements, so you can feel confident and informed.
• Ongoing improvements to our newsletter and website, making it even easier for families to access the information they need.
• Development and distribution of the NHHC's New Hampshire Home Education Guidebook, a comprehensive resource for both new and experienced home educators. The 2026 edition has recently been completed, and we look forward to releasing it as soon as pending legislation is finalized so we can ensure families receive the most accurate legal information available.

Membership in the New Hampshire Homeschooling Coalition is free and open to all. Our representatives bring a wide range of home education experiences and perspectives.

The NHHC also maintains a seat on the Home Education Advisory Council (HEAC) at the New Hampshire Department of Education. HEAC fosters communication between home educators and educational institutions, helping to resolve concerns before they escalate to the legislative or judicial level.

The New Hampshire Homeschooling Coalition is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We do not influence legislation or participate in political campaigns.
