Help Us Support the Performing Arts in the
Portsmouth Public Schools!

In these times of tighter budgets, rising costs, and increasing needs, the Parents Music Club needs your help to give our kids the opportunities and enrichments they deserve. Every dollar you contribute enhances funding, keeping our stages lit and our youth performing arts programs thriving. Your charitable gift ensures that Portsmouth K-12 students continue to experience the transformative power of musical education and live performances.

Every one of Portsmouth’s 2,400 students (K-12) participates in music and the arts throughout their school journey. 100% of your donation goes directly to student performing arts programs.

Gifts of any size will help, and gifts from as many unique individuals as possible will help qualify PMC for potential additional awards and bonus gifts.

This year we really need your help to fund important initiatives: 

• $50 helps cover a student’s festival participation fee
• $250 helps fund reeds for our beginning instrumentalists
• $500 helps provide transportation to a performance, dress rehearsal or event
• $750 helps us purchase a new wireless microphone pack
• $1,000 helps support a graduating senior pursuing Music/Theater in higher education
• $2,000 covers an elementary enrichment program
• $2,500 covers a new riser for our Choral Program
• $3,000 covers the rights to a theater production
• $4,000 covers new Orff Instruments for our elementary classrooms
• $5,000 covers Instrument repairs and upgrades for school owned instruments
• $6,000 Covers new uniform pants for the Marching Band
• $10,000 covers a Middle School Musical Theater Production

About Us

We are the Parents Music Club of the Portsmouth Public Schools. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the performing arts in the Portsmouth, NH public schools, grades kindergarten through 12.

Part of our mission is to help fund opportunities for our public school students. To this end, we do numerous fundraising drives throughout the year including: restaurant fundraisers, raffles, ticket sales for performances, and NHGives.

As our largest fundraising event of the year, NHGives expands our reach. It connects local and non-local donors with our mission, raising essential awareness and funds to directly support our students.
