The Reproductive Freedom Fund of New Hampshire works to ensure that every Granite Stater can access the reproductive and gender-affirming healthcare they need, regardless of their income, insurance status, zip code, or identity.
We believe that bodily autonomy is a fundamental human right. Yet too many people in New Hampshire face financial, geographic, and political barriers when seeking abortion care, gender-affirming care, contraception, pregnancy care, and other essential reproductive health services. These barriers disproportionately impact low-income individuals, LGBTQ+ people, young people, people of color, immigrants, and those living in rural communities.
Since our founding, we have provided direct financial assistance, practical support, and community-based resources to help people access the care they need with dignity and without delay. Through our abortion fund and Queer Care Fund, we help cover the costs of care, transportation, lodging, and other expenses that can stand between a person and the healthcare they need.
In just five years, we have funded over $1 million in abortion, supporting over 1150 Granite Staters and almost 400 out-of-state callers. We've supplies over 10,000 emergency contraceptives to communities across the state, granted over $40k in gender-affirming care funds, provided hundreds of rides to the clinic, and more!
Our work is grounded in the belief that our freedoms are interconnected. Reproductive justice, LGBTQ+ justice, racial justice, and economic justice are inseparable. When people have the resources and support they need to make decisions about their own bodies and futures, our communities are healthier, stronger, and more equitable for everyone.
