Since 1976, the Rye Historical Society has worked to preserve and share the stories, artifacts, photographs, and documents that tell the history of Rye and its important role in New Hampshire and American history. Every artifact, photograph, and document in our collection tells a story that might otherwise be lost. Our collections are at the heart of this mission, safeguarding the objects and records that connect us to the people, events, and traditions that shaped our community. This year, our NH Gives campaign focuses on supporting the care, preservation, cataloging, and storage of these irreplaceable collections.
