Seabrook-Hamptons Estuary Alliance

Since 2013, the Seabrook-Hamptons Estuary Alliance (SHEA) has been bringing people together to protect and preserve the Hampton-Seabrook Estuary and its watershed. Founded by local residents who recognized the importance of this unique coastal ecosystem, SHEA works to safeguard our natural resources through education, community outreach, research, and conservation initiatives.

We believe that lasting environmental stewardship starts with informed and engaged communities. Through hands-on programs, public workshops, habitat restoration projects, and resilience planning, we help people understand and address challenges such as flooding, water quality issues, habitat loss, and climate change, while fostering a deeper connection to the estuary.

Our vision is a healthy, resilient estuary that supports wildlife, strengthens our communities, and enriches the lives of future generations.
