SEE Science Center

A nonprofit organization

This year SEE Science Center turns 40! As we reflect on where we can have the most impact in our community during this milestone year, we are requesting your help. During this NH Gives campaign, please consider contributing to help us defray material costs associated with our hands-on science activities so that more kids get more science. Supporters can contribute here on NH Gives, donate products at SEE or visit our Amazon Wish List: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/27MIPG9IPKAY6?ref=cm_sw_em_r_un_un_pheH426qI8cIk

Remove Barriers to Science Education

Access to materials is one of the largest barriers to science education and why many kids don’t get the opportunity to experiment. The high cost of consumable lab materials, specialized equipment, and the necessity for hands-on, one-time-use items, makes science education 15% to 85% more expensive than other subjects. What does this mean? Low-income kids often get less science or learn science with the hands-on components missing.

Making Science Accessible

At SEE Science Center we believe in using creativity to solve big problems. We work to reduce material costs for science programming by creating more reusable parts, using volunteer power to salvage one-time-use materials, diverting materials headed to the dumpster, and carefully design programs to maximize hands-on materials while minimizing one-time supplies and their environmental impact. We also work with 99 local schools and over 30 non-profit community partners to leverage volume as we purchase material supplies to get hands-on programming to more kids at a lower cost.  Your support will make science accessible to all in our community.

Thank you for your help with our 2026 NH Gives Campaign!
