Unchartered

THE WHY

We’re fundraising for Unchartered, a nonprofit that teaches science through art to students who might otherwise never get the chance to experience it. Our kids aren’t just reading about science or memorizing facts. They’re building things, testing ideas, getting messy with it, and realizing they actually belong in it.

We work primarily in Title 1 schools, where large portions of the student population qualify for lunch assistance, which means we’re showing up where access is limited but curiosity is not. Because access to real, hands-on science is not evenly distributed. And that's a problem. 

And also because we have seen what happens when a kid who has already decided “I’m bad at science” gets one real moment to try, to build, to experiment and realize… they are not. Not even close. That shift? It sticks. It changes how they see themselves. We are here for that moment, over and over again. 

One experiment at a time. 

One messy table, 

one sparkle, 

one “wait… I get this” at a time.

NH Gives is our moment to reach more of those students right now.

FUNDING

Funding goes directly to:

• hands-on science materials

• real experiments in classrooms

• programs delivered to students who wouldn’t otherwise have access  (by paid, energetic, and sustainably-waged community members)

Translation: your donation turns into actual experiments in actual classrooms.

We’re raising $3,500–$5,000 during NH Gives.

Right now, every donation is matched up to $1,000, so your gift is doubled.
