About WISE

WISE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to support immigrant and refugee women, girls, and those on the feminine gender spectrum in their journey of self-actualization through culturally-responsive education, advocacy, systems change and resource development. WISE hosts 4 programs:

Girls Getting Ahead in Leadership (GGAL) --- an academic support and leadership skills development program for 6th-12th grade immigrant and refugee girls or youth on the feminine gender spectrum.

Healthy Relationships --- a program under GGAL that ensures youth know how to practice healthy communication, set boundaries in their relationships, identify healthy and unhealthy relationship behaviors, and take action when they feel unsafe.

WeLEAD --- a college and career navigation program for immigrant and refugee women or adults on the feminine gender spectrum.
