Arts In Reach

AIR offers free afterschool programs, summer camps and weekend workshops in literary, performing and visual arts for adolescents ages 10-18 that are youth-focused and mentorship-based. Each program includes art supplies, snacks, and transportation to and from, and all of it is offered at no cost to participants.

Our kids are facing stressors no generation before them ever did. What we do at AIR is joyful, and full of fun, and laughter, and beauty and music. And it is intentional.

AIR is evidence-based, and trauma-informed, inclusive, accessible, and completely free. We really mean the “In Reach” part of our name. But the “Arts” part is also essential.

Through exploration and expression, our kids build confidence, a vision for the future they want to see, and most importantly, belonging. The pathway to a healthy adulthood in the face of childhood adversity requires at least one adult who shows up for you, peer friendships, and community - at AIR, we provide these in spades.
