For over 40 years, the Community Food Center - Tamworth & Sandwich has worked to ensure that all residents of Tamworth and Sandwich have access to nutritious food. Every other Wednesday, clients are able to select the grocery items they need for the next two weeks from our shelves. In 2025 we served 97 households (5-6% of households in these 2 towns).
In these times of reduced USDA support for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) and WIC (Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children), we are here for every household in Tamworth and Sandwich.
