Help Strengthen Recovery Spaces at SENHS
This NH Gives, Community Partners is raising support for Southeastern New Hampshire Services (SENHS), a program of Community Partners, and the recovery environments that help individuals rebuild stability, dignity, and hope.
Every year, Turning Point and Kane House provide structured residential support for hundreds of individuals recovering from substance use disorders. Many clients arrive after detox or residential treatment with very few belongings, limited support systems, and significant barriers to stable recovery.
While treatment and clinical services are critical, recovery also depends on the environment around a person. Safe, welcoming, and functional spaces help individuals focus on healing, routine, and rebuilding their lives.
This year’s NH Gives campaign focuses on improving the quality of those spaces and meeting essential client needs across our residential recovery programs.
Your Support Helps Provide
These investments directly improve the client experience and help create environments that support recovery, safety, and stability.
Why This Matters
The Seacoast region continues to face significant substance use and behavioral health challenges, yet there are limited residential recovery support options available locally. Turning Point serves as an important step-down program for individuals transitioning from detox and residential treatment who are not yet ready to return home or live independently.
For many clients, this is a critical stage of recovery.
Something as simple as a clean room, functional kitchen, comfortable bed, hygiene supplies, or welcoming shared space can have a meaningful impact on a person working to rebuild stability after addiction.
Community Partners is dedicated to providing quality services to meet the needs of families and individuals in Strafford County. In additional to SENHS, we are the Aging and Disability Resource Center, Community Mental Health Center, Area Agency and a Developmental Services Provider.
Community Partners acquired SENHS in 2025 to strengthen and expand integrated behavioral health services in Strafford County.
As we continue investing in these programs, our goal is not only to sustain services, but to improve the quality of the environments where recovery happens every day.
Your gift during NH Gives helps ensure individuals entering recovery are met with dignity, compassion, and spaces designed to support healing. We are here to work with you!
