Connor's Climb Foundation

In the aftermath of a suicide, family, friends and communities respond in different ways. When Connor Ball died by suicide in October of 2011, his family and friends decided that no one else should experience such a profound and life-altering loss.

Connor's Climb Foundation is the result of their love of Connor and their commitment to end youth suicide. Suicide is the second leading cause of death for young people between the ages of 10 to 24. There is good news though: suicide is preventable

The mission of Connor's Climb Foundation is to provide suicide prevention education by raising awareness, reducing stigma and equipping youth, educations and the community at large with tools and resources focused on the vulnerable age group of 10-24 year old's to New New Hampshire and bordering communities. 

Since our launch 11 years ago: 

• 10 Community 5K & Family Walks, 5,000+ Participants


• 130+ schools have received the SOS (Signs of Suicide) Program - Free of charge


• 10,000+ trusted adults trained in SOS program and other aspects of suicide prevention and mental health awareness- Free of charge


• 30,000+ students received suicide prevention education - Free of charge


• 30+ Stick it to Stigma games - participated to spread awareness

Who We Are

Connor’s Climb Foundation works to ensure that the youth of New Hampshire have the tools and knowledge necessary to prevent youth suicide. The foundation provides educators, community leaders, students and parents with evidence-based suicide prevention education programs to help fight youth suicide. To date, Connor’s Climb Foundation has provided suicide prevention education to more than 1800 educators, over 30,000 students and 75 schools (and growing!).

Our Vision: To ensure that access to suicide prevention education is available to all New Hampshire youth.

Connor’s Climb Foundation provides comprehensive suicide-awareness and responsiveness programs for youth in middle school and high schools. Our primary objective is to help everyone in the school community recognize when a student is at potential risk of suicide, and establish easy-to-understand procedures for accessing help. We also work to reduce the stigma associated with mental health.
