Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of NH

A nonprofit organization

$293,460 raised by 639 donors

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Hampshire recruits, trains, and supports community volunteers to serve as advocates for children throughout the state who have experienced abuse or neglect. CASA volunteer advocates get to know a child and the important people in that child’s life to provide vital information to help a judge make decisions based on the best interests of the child.

Why are our volunteer advocates so effective?

  • Dedication: CASAs visit children on their cases at least once a month, and commit to the life of the case. Many times they are children’s only consistent adult, from beginning to end.

  • Courage: CASAs take on emotionally difficult work and speak up in court to ensure a child's needs are heard and remain the focus.

  • Integrity: CASAs gather information from the important adults in each child’s life so they can make qualified, unbiased recommendations to a judge.

  • Compassion: Our CASAs work with families of all backgrounds. Reunification is the priority when it is safe and in the child's best interest.

  • Safety: Our CASAs work tirelessly toward one goal: helping children thrive and heal in safe, permanent homes.

We are seeing some of the most severe cases of child neglect ever witnessed. Your donation will help us recruit, train and support more volunteers to advocate for these children in need.
