Help Keep Food Support Strong Across the Capital Region
Food insecurity is often closer than we think.
It can look like a senior stretching a fixed income, a family trying to cover groceries while rent and utility bills rise, or a neighbor facing an unexpected hardship they never saw coming. For many households, one difficult month can make it harder to keep enough food on the table.
That is where the Capital Region Food Program comes in.
For more than 50 years, CRFP brings together volunteers, donors, and community partners to reduce hunger and strengthen the Capital Region by turning community resources into action that meets urgent food needs and creates lasting change.
We fight hunger in Concord and the surrounding 17+ communities through two core programs that are 100% Volunteer-Powered:
The Holiday Project provides vouchers that give households the power to choose foods that support their unique needs, including fresh, culturally meaningful options that meet dietary needs, while easing strained budgets during the holiday season and colder months.
The Year Round Distribution Project provides local nonprofit partners with supplemental caseloads of food each month, helping bridge gaps when typical sources cannot fully meet agency needs while allowing partners to direct their own limited resources toward other essential needs.
Together, we create a stronger Capital Region where no table is left empty, everyone has access to food, and communities thrive.
Keep the Impact Going
Your NH Gives donation helps purchase food for neighbors across local communities, strengthens the nonprofit partners already doing this work every day, and keeps CRFP ready to respond as needs continue to change.
After giving today, keep the impact going by signing up for our newsletter, sharing CRFP with a friend, or following along for updates and stories about our work.
Thank you for helping keep food support strong across the Capital Region.
