Help Us Empower the Next Generation of Leaders 

This NH Gives, your donation will open doors for local New Hampshire girls to participate in our Young Women’s Leadership (YWL) Summer Program—an eight-week experience that inspires teen girls to grow into the strong, smart, and bold leaders we know they can be.

Held on the campus of Saint Anselm College, the YWL Program gives girls a glimpse of college life—many for the first time. They explore what’s possible for their futures while gaining critical leadership and life skills. From job shadowing with local professionals to visiting college campuses and connecting with female entrepreneurs, each experience is designed to build confidence and expand their sense of what’s possible.

Throughout the summer, girls dive into economic literacy, career exploration, and personal development, all while learning from guest speakers and community leaders. They begin to see themselves not just as future college students, but as changemakers in their communities.

For many of our participants, scholarships are the only way they can access this life-changing opportunity. Your gift during NH Gives will directly fund scholarships for girls across New Hampshire—giving them the chance to dream bigger, aim higher, and prepare for a brighter future.

Who We Are

Girls Inc. of New Hampshire is a self-sustaining affiliate of a national organization that inspires all girls to be strong (through healthy living), smart (through education), and bold (through independence). We are the only affiliate, of 76, to cover an entire state.

We have been serving girls ages 5 - 18 in New Hampshire for 52 years and typically work with over 700 girls annually. We have centers in Nashua and Manchester where we offer after school programs that include literacy programs, fitness, STEM programs, self-defense, leadership skills, Mind + Body curriculum, and more. We also offer in-school and after school programming in schools all around NH. 

Girls Inc. NH offers full-day summer camp led by trained professionals, mentoring programs at both centers along with our highly respected Young Women's Leadership program. We provide girls with snacks and dinner made in our kitchens each day after school and serve breakfast, lunch and dinner during the summer.
