Mental Health treatment shouldn’t come with a price tag—or a waitlist. No one in our community should be stuck in an emergency room for weeks only to face a $20,000 bill upon discharge. How can we best serve those who are experiencing mental health a crisis with no end in sight?
Welcome to Infinity Peer Support
- A NO-COST & NO-WAITLIST peer-based approach to mental health recovery and an alternative to emergency room onboarding for adults in NH. Through interactions with people who are also navigating their recovery journey, we provide a safe supportive environment of peers for any person in need. No one should feel alone. No one should feel categorized. You are not a "client" or "patient", you are a "member" and "peer" of our community.
Our Rochester facility, located just outside the main downtown district, offers a variety of programming to enhance the mental wellness of it's members. By attending a variety of support groups on numerous mental health related topics, members are able to push past the stigma and see the full potential of their recovery.
Mental health recovery is not just about learning techniques, it's about doing them. At Infinity we break the barrier many have to engaging in research-proven methods for well-being and recovery. WE DON'T JUST TALK ABOUT WHAT WORKS, WE DO IT!
Alongside their peers, members participate in a variety of these proven methods, such as art, music, reiki, yoga, journaling, cooking, outdoor activities, and much more. Your donation can help us to continue these services.
All our staff have a "lived experience" in mental health, meaning they too are on their own mental recovery path. Our staff are Certified Peer Support Specialists, enabling them to effectively engage with members in a group or individual session with a goal of guiding a person on their own chosen path to wellness. They also frequently participate in other related trainings and recertifications.
Your donation will help us continue to offer mental health support at no-cost for adults in NH! During a time with so much uncertainty surrounding budgets and funding, one thing remains intact: community support!
We envision a future where peer support is not seen as an alternative, but as essential. Where people helping people, through honesty, compassion, and lived experience, is recognized as powerful, transformative care. Because we believe that recovery isn't a straight line - it's an infinite journey and no one should have to walk it alone. Infinity Peer Support serves more than 500 members across Strafford County and are devoted to expanding to more.
Your gift directly removes the obstacles that stand between a person in crisis and their path to recovery.
