Families across NH need your support this summer more than ever! Summer camp at the Keene Family YMCA is more than just fun, it's a lifeline for families in need, especially as funding opportunities for camps have been reduced and, in some cases, eliminated this year. With over $20,000 already provided by the Y in financial assistance for summer camp, the need continues to grow, and your support ensures every child can access this life-changing experience.

The first $1,000 raised is matched 2-to-1 so you can more than double your impact thanks to Savings Bank of Walpole!

We are proud to be able to meet the changing and growing needs of our community! We do that through collaborations with organizations, businesses, and individuals to provide the best quality opportunities to help reach all of our goals. At the Y, we enjoy connecting people to a greater sense of purpose - and to each other - because we know it will make our community stronger. 

FUNDS RAISED DURING NH GIVES

As one of the Monadnock region's largest and oldest charitable organizations, the YMCA raises funds year-round through its Annual Campaign. These funds enable us to operate our Membership for All Program which provides financial assistance to those who need it most, helping ensure that our programs and services, like the ones listed above, are accessible to everyone in our community!

In 2024, the Keene Family YMCA awarded $218,100 in financial assistance and free services. We also provided $24,156 in in-kind support to other organizations to help strengthen our community!

Thanks to generous support from donors like you, we've already provided over $20,000 in financial assistance to ensure children can attend summer camp in 2025 - and we see the need continuing to grow. When you support the Y, you help create opportunities for children and families to thrive by making programs like summer camp, childcare, swim lessons, and wellness classes accessible to everyone.

THE NEED

Summer Camp at the Keene Family YMCA is more than just a fun experience - it's a lifeline for children and families in the Monadnock Region. This year, limited state and other funding opportunities for summer camp have left families in dire need of support. Many parents rely on camp not only as a safe, enriching environment for their children during the summer but also as a vital resource that gives them the ability to work and support their households.

The YMCA's Membership for All program helps bridge this gap, providing critical financial assistance to ensure every child has access to the life-changing experiences of summer camp, regardless of their family's financial situation. However, the gap between funds raised and the need continues to grow as more families seek support. Without additional help, some children may miss out on the opportunity to grow confidence, form lasting friendships, and create lifelong memories in a supportive and nurturing environment.
