Kingswood Youth Center, Inc.

The Kingswood Youth Center is an independent non-profit organization in Wolfeboro, NH. The Center has been providing quality programs for youth in grades 7-12, in the Governor Wentworth Regional School District for 25 years.  In fact, we just celebrated our 25th anniversary on May 24, 2025!  The KYC's regular services include an after-school program, BTAS! (Beyond The After School!) programs, summer programs, Club 121 mentoring services, as well as the KYC Kloset, the Center's free thrift store, and the KYC Kupboard, the Center's free food pantry.

Today, safe, healthful, supervised opportunities for teens to learn and socialize are more important than ever before. During the 2024-2025 school year, the KYC offered 800 hours of in-person programs to over 100 students. Groups of students were offered increased support as programs extended later into the evenings.  Students engaged in community service, life skills instruction, substance misuse prevention, arts and creativity, recreation and fitness, team-building and socialization, and more!  The individual success stories, friendships, mentoring contributions, and observable evidence of learning and social/emotional growth provide the best indicators of just how awesome this school year has been!

Everyone at the KYC is excited about our summer programs in 2025! The KYC looks forward to continuing to be part of the positive path forward for the community's wonderful teens! We are fundraising to continue and expand upon these vital services.

Who We Are

The Kingswood Youth Center is a not for profit organization in Wolfeboro NH. The center has been providing quality programs for youth, ages 12 to 18, in the Governor Wentworth School District for over 20 years. The KYC offers an after school programs, BTAS! (Beyond The After School!) program, summer programming, and Club 121 (a one-to-one adult to student mentoring program within the schools). Approximately 250 teens attend the center each year. The center relies on donations and grants to operate.
