Marguerite’s Place has a 30+ year history of empowering families experiencing homelessness, offering more than safe shelter. We provide the tools, community, and coaching families need to heal from trauma and break the cycle of homelessness for good.

An integral part of our holistic approach is access to high-quality childcare, ensuring that both parents and children have the support they need to thrive. Within our classrooms, we provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day, along with formula and baby food for our youngest learners. 

This not only eliminates a significant barrier for families, allowing them to direct their financial resources toward building long-term stability, but it also ensures that the little ones are well-nourished, engaged, and ready to learn and grow.

Who We Are

Unique to the New Hampshire service landscape, there are no other programs in the state that provide transitional housing, quality licensed childcare, and supportive group programming within one organization. 

We passionately believe that it is this specific combination of whole-family services and individualized supports that provides the opportunity for sustainable success and leads to healthy, happy lives.
