Public education in New Hampshire is facing a defining moment. As communities grapple with rising property taxes and growing strain on local schools, renewed efforts to undermine the constitutional obligation to fund public education are raising urgent questions about the future of our public schools and who is responsible for supporting them.

At the NH School Funding Fairness Project, we help communities understand what’s at stake, connect policy decisions to real-world impacts, and organize together around the future of public education in New Hampshire. We connect courtroom decisions, legislation, and policy debates to the real-world impacts communities are already experiencing.

Your financial support:

• Helps us bring educational presentations and strategy sessions into communities statewide, informing residents about the State’s inequitable school funding system and its impact on students, taxpayers, and local communities

• Supports public engagement and advocacy around major school funding legislation and ongoing threats to the constitutional obligation to fund public education in New Hampshire

• Strengthens a growing statewide network of school board members, local leaders, educators, taxpayers, and advocates organizing together around the future of public education

• Expands NHSFFP’s research, analysis, and public education work connecting courtroom decisions, legislation, and policy debates to the real-world impacts communities are experiencing

• Builds the relationships, organizing infrastructure, and public understanding needed to shape a fairer future for New Hampshire students and taxpayers

And this year, every contribution will go twice as far thanks to a $10,500 match! Every dollar donated for NH Gives will be matched dollar-for-dollar until the full match is met, doubling the impact of your support for public education advocacy and organizing across New Hampshire.
