The New Hampshire Book Festival returns October 2–3, 2026, with keynote appearances by Jodi Picoult and Jeff Kinney — plus an exciting lineup of acclaimed authors from across the country.

2026 Challenge Matches

• 🎉 Kick-Off Match: Tuesday, June 9
  • To Kick off NH Gives, a generous donor will match all gifts dollar for dollar up to $1,000. Early donations have double the impact and help build momentum toward our goal.
• ☀️ Lunch Break Match: Wednesday, June 10
  • Donations made between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on June 10 will be matched dollar for dollar until the $1,000 match pool is exhausted.
• ⏰ Final Push Match: Wednesday, June 10
  • Available starting at 3 PM on June 10, a generous donor will match gifts dollar for dollar up to $1,000. Help us meet or beat our $7,500 fundraising goal and finish NH Gives strong.

Special Incentive

Donate $500 or more and you’ll be entered for a chance to have your pet immortalized in a custom cartoon by beloved New Yorker cartoonist Harry Bliss and his collaborator, Steve Martin. Donate $1,000 or more and be entered for 3 chances to win.

The winning donor will receive:

• A one-of-a-kind cartoon featuring their pet

• Signed by Harry Bliss and Steve Martin

The winner will be drawn on July 16 at 5:30 PM at Gibson's Bookstore.

The Fine Print: Drawing will take place on July 16, 2026 at 5:30 pm at Gibson’s Bookstore, 45 South Main Street, Concord, NH. Prize is transferable and no need to be present to win! Must be 16 or older to participate. Mail checks to: NHBF, PO Box 283, Contoocook, NH or donate online. Mailed donations must be received (not just postmarked) on or before July 10, 2026. Online donations accepted until July 16. Note: Donors who have already contributed $500 or more in 2026 will automatically be entered.
