The New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery has been a peaceful and honorable resting place for veterans and their eligible dependents for over two decades. More than 19,000 deserving veterans and their families have found solace in the cemetery's natural beauty.

As a voluntary non-profit organization, the NHVCA works in direct partnership with cemetery leadership to honor this sacred ground. We fulfill our mission by funding vital infrastructure improvements, fostering public awareness through ceremonial events, and ensuring the cemetery remains a world-class facility.

Turning Giving into Direct Impact

While we have achieved much together—from mitigating Route 3 traffic noise to establishing our Heritage Learning Center—the work to maintain this world-class sanctuary never stops. Funds raised during NH Gives this week will directly support our past, current, and future initiatives, including:

• Grounds and Memorials: Funding the current Memorial Walkway expansion, ongoing landscaping, refurbished flagpoles, and unforseen expenses not able to be funded by the State.

• Structure and Technology: Supporting the Chapel's critical climate-control HVAC system, ongoing website maintenance, operational IT support, and our specialized Grave & Brick Finder Kiosk to help families locate their loved ones.

• The Veterans Heritage Learning Center: Powering continuous maintenance, upgrades, and new exhibits within the center, including our "Stories of Service" project to preserve local history.

• Ceremonies and Operations: Providing the vital event supplies, maintenance equipment, and day-to-day operational support needed to host our commemorative public ceremonies throughout the year.
