Supporting Dignity, Joy and Care at Taylor Community
Since 1907, Taylor Community has provided older adults in New Hampshire's Lakes Region with compassionate care, meaningful connection, and a true sense of community. As a nonprofit 501 (c) (3) organization, we rely on philanthropy to help provide the programs, experiences, and support that make Taylor feel like home.
That is where donors like you make all the difference.
WHO WE ARE: A Community Built on Compassion
Taylor Community is a nonprofit continuing care retirement community serving older adults throughout the Lakes Region of New Hampshire with campuses in Laconia, Wolfeboro and Meredith. Our residents are parents, grandparents, veterans, teachers, caregivers, and neighbors whose lives and stories have shaped our communities for generations.
At Taylor, we believe aging should include dignity, purpose, friendship, lifelong learning, and joy. Every day we strive to create a welcoming environment where residents feel supported, valued, engaged, and cared for.
Why Donate to Taylor?
A common misconception is that resident entrance and monthly fees fully cover everything needed to support life at Taylor. While those fees help provide housing and essential services, charitable giving allows us to go beyond basic care and create the enriching experiences, compassionate support, and opportunities that truly enhance quality of life.
Your generosity helps ensure that residents continue to experience joy, comfort, connection, and peace of mind, regardless of life's unexpected challenges.
How Your Gift Makes a Different at Taylor
♫ Music Series Fund:
Supports concerts, performances, and musical programming that bring joy, comfort, memories, and connection to our residents. All musical performances are also free to the public.
Baker Staff Development Fund:
Provides continuing education and professional development opportunities for the compassionate staff members who care for our residents every day.
Charitable Care Fund:
Assists residents who may outlive their financial resources, helping ensure they can continue receiving care with dignity and security and peace of mind.
Annual Fund
Supports the greatest needs across Taylor Community, including wellness programs, resident activities, community spaces, and quality of life enhancements.
"Because of the enrichment programs and staff at Taylor Community, my parents didn't just live here, they thrived here. After my mom's passing, my dad continued to thrive because of the community both in residence and staff." -Christian Coulter, Board of Trustees Member
"As a daughter, the greatest gift Taylor gave our family was peace of mind. Other communities told us my parents would have to move if they ever outlived their savings. At Taylor, we were reassured that would never happen to continuing care contract holders or Life Care contract holders. Knowing the Charitable Care Fund is there allows my parents to live fully without fear of the future." -Daughter of Residents
Every Gift Makes A Difference
At Taylor Community, every act of generosity matters. Whether you give $10 or $5,000+, your support helps enrich the lives of residents, strengthen compassionate care, support our dedicated staff, and provide meaningful experiences throughout our community.
