Who We Are
The Majestic Theatre, founded in 1990 by a passionate group who wanted to have affordable, family-oriented theatre productions right here in their own community. Over 30 years later The Majestic has grown into one of NH's most prolific community theatres. 12 - 15 productions are presented annually including mainstage plays and musicals as well as productions by children and teens. In addition to productions The Majestic offers special events, summer theatre camps, workshops, and community partnerships.
In 2016 The Ted Herbert Music School was welcomed under the Majestic organization to continue to provide private music lessons, performance opportunities, workshops, and a Community Big Band program. Students of all ages are welcomed. The Majestic brings theatre and music into the lives of 15,000 individuals each year.
