Our Club has been working towards our mission, to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their potential as responsible, caring, productive citizens, since we were founded in 1971. Since that time, we have continued to evolve our Club’s programs to meet the evolving needs of youth in our community.
We serve children ages 6-weeks through 18-years old who live in over 40 towns in the Greater Nashua Area.
Membership to our Club costs $40 annually, just 1.25% of our actual cost to serve each child. Our low-cost membership eliminates economic barriers to access for young people; scholarships are provided to any child who demonstrates need, ensuring that no child is turned away due to inability to pay. Our membership includes:
We seek out and serve the young people who need us most in our community. In the last year, we served 1,500 children in our community. Staff focus on providing a fun experience for all youth, and on providing equitable access to resources and opportunities all young people need to thrive.
Funds raised as part of NH Gives will support our summer camp, and help provide a summer of fun for youth in our community. Every donation, no matter the size, makes an impact on the youth we serve. We like to say that "raindrop fill lakes" - we couldn't do what we do without your support!
The Boys & Girls Club's mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Providing a great Club experience means we meet youth where they are, and understand what they need to grow and succeed. In doing so, we emphasize three key outcome areas: Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles. These focus areas provide a platform for helping kids build the skills and relationships needed to achieve Great Futures.
We meet the needs of every age group we serve whether they are the 5-8 year-old Kids Club members in need of a solid foundation to excel in their later years, the 8-12 year-old Clubhouse members undergoing the critical stage of developing life-long skills, or the 13-18 year-old Teen members preparing to graduate high school and pursue their future careers.
Your gift can keep our doors open so we can provide our kids with caring mentors, free meals, and life-enhancing programs! We need advocates, donors and champions like YOU to join us and serve the most vulnerable youth in our community. Thank you!
