$11,000 Goal

At the Conway Area Humane Society (CAHS), our staff, board members, and volunteers are deeply committed to the well-being of every animal that enters our care.

Since opening our doors in 2003, CAHS has grown from a single cat rescue facility into a full-service animal welfare organization. In 2004, we expanded to include dog kennels, and most recently, in 2024, we proudly opened the Valley Animal Hospital, increasing our ability to provide lifesaving care.

Every year, CAHS rescues, shelters, and adopts out hundreds of animals, many of whom have been surrendered, found as strays, confiscated by law enforcement, or transported from overcrowded shelters or disaster-stricken areas. We serve a wide range of towns, including Albany, Bartlett, Berlin, Conway, Chatham, Chocorua, Freedom, Glen, Gorham, Intervale, Jackson, Kearsarge, Madison and Silver Lake.

Our mission is clear: we are community of volunteers, staff and supporters dedicated to promoting animal welfare through rescue, adoption and education. But we can’t do it alone. Your support saves lives. Whether through donations, sponsorships, or volunteering, every contribution makes a direct impact on the animals who need us most.

Join our community of animal advocates and help us continue our lifesaving work. Together, we can give them the second chance they deserve.
