Community Action Partnership of Strafford County

Last year, Community Action Partnership of Strafford County provided more than $15.8 million in goods and services, supporting nearly 25,000 individuals in more than 11,500 households across our county. While these numbers demonstrate the impact of our work, they also highlight the growing needs within our community.

Our programs focus on the essential building blocks of stability: housing, early childhood education and care, and food security. Without stable housing, maintaining employment becomes more difficult. Without affordable childcare, many parents are unable to work. And without income, families struggle to put food on the table. Because these challenges are interconnected, CAPSC takes a comprehensive approach to helping neighbors overcome obstacles and create brighter futures. 

At CAPSC, we are committed to meeting the moment. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners, we are expanding outreach, increasing access to healthy food, and creating additional opportunities for affordable housing.

Government funding accounts for approximately 80% of our budget, meaning we must raise the remaining 20% each year to maintain those resources. As demand grows and federal funding remains uncertain, community support is more important than ever.
