Granite State Children's Alliance

A nonprofit organization

$21,501 raised by 47 donors

The Granite State Children's Alliance is in a critical race to complete renovations to the future home of the Child Advocacy Center of Hillsborough County North, as well as our behavioral health program and state chapter office.

Set to open in late 2025, our future home at 607 Chestnut Street in Manchester provides room for expansion, allowing us to better promote justice and foster hope and healing for countless child victims of abuse.

Right now, we face a $700,000 funding gap—and time is running out.

Good news: Every donation will be matched!

Thanks to the Wavedance Fund, all gifts during NH Gives will be matched dollar-for-dollar. Your investment today will go twice as far to protect vulnerable children and strengthen our community.

We urgently need your support to close the gap. Double your impact and help us open the doors to safety and healing by giving today.

What is a Child Advocacy Center (CAC)?

Every child deserves to feel safe and loved, with the stability and emotional support needed to grow into a happy, successful adult.

When a child becomes a victim of abuse or neglect they must feel heard and believed. It’s crucial they know they can overcome their trauma and achieve their potential.

We believe safeguarding children is everyone’s responsibility, and for more than two decades the Granite State Children’s Alliance (GSCA) has played an integral part in developing child protection services: establishing Child Advocacy Centers (CACs), promoting justice, and offering healing and hope to tens of thousands of children impacted by abuse or neglect. As the sole nonprofit coordinating with law enforcement and DCYF, we operate four CACs in Belknap, Cheshire and Hillsborough counties and support all of New Hampshire's 11 centers with training, education, and resources.

At CACs, evidence-based forensic interviews are conducted by highly-trained professionals and designed to be child-friendly and trauma-sensitive, ensuring a neutral environment that validates children’s experiences. Our comprehensive services include family assistance and, at a growing number of CACs, on-site behavioral health care and specialized medical exams for child victims.

Child abuse inflicts deep and enduring wounds, but with timely intervention, support, and counseling, children can learn to cope and heal. Together with our dedicated staff, volunteers, supporters, and partners, we amplify children’s voices—because every child deserves the opportunity to heal, survive, and thrive.
