Kids Five and Over

Our Mission

Kids Five and Over empowers Seacoast youth to explore their unique interests and passions. We provide scholarships for extracurricular activities and foster ongoing support for children and teens who may not otherwise be able to participate.

Why It Matters

• Childhood isn’t just a phase, it’s a foundation for everything that follows.
• It’s when confidence grows, passions form, and identities begin to take shape.
• It’s when mentors appear, friendships bloom, and self-worth is built, one experience at a time.

The Need

• Dreams often fade when there isn’t space for them to grow.
• A dance class, an art lesson, or a spot on a team isn’t an “extra,” it’s a lifeline.
• These experiences spark joy, foster connection, and offer both purpose and belonging.

The Nomination Process

• Educators, coaches, outreach therapists, and trusted advocates from across the Seacoast identify youth who will benefit from scholarship funding.
• These advocates work with families to understand each child’s hopes and dreams.
• When a need is clear, a nomination for scholarship funding is submitted at KidsFiveAndOver.org.

Our Commitment

• Scholarship funding can continue over months or years, honoring the full arc of a child’s commitment to their chosen activity.
• We also fulfill requests for essentials (uniforms, shoes, gear) so youth can participate with ease and confidence.
